Our dedicated and highly trained team plan every project to ISO 9001 standards, ensuring existing structures, site limitations and health and safety issues are considered.
We are Constructionline Gold Members. To achieve Gold Membership, applicants must complete an extended verified pre-qualification questionnaire that goes beyond PAS 91 and its health and safety standards must meet the criteria of Constructionline’s Safety Systems in Procurement (SSIP) scheme. On top of that each company’s credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies are assessed.
The Installation Process
Prior to any installation job we ask our clients to complete a questionnaire and where required we will attend site in advance to undertake a survey. Our installers are experienced and highly skilled and our office team are here to ensure everything is ready on site and that our customers are supported with permits, H&S and RAMS where necessary.
When the team arrive on site we will have all the equipment we need to complete the job. Our vans are fully stocked with a range of accessories and fixings to facilitate any unexpected surprises. Our installers will fully brief the customer on exactly what work we will be carrying out and answer any questions. They have completed our rigorous training programme and hold all the necessary qualifications such as CSCS, PAL and PASMA cards to ensure that every job is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
Maintenance and servicing
Ensure your flagpole and flag look at their best all year around with an annual service undertaken by one of our trained flagpole service team. As the UK’s largest flagpole manufacturer we hold a comprehensive stock of accessories and parts in our service vans and travel throughout England, Scotland and Wales on a weekly basis.
Beyond making sure your flagpole looks great, maintaining your flagpole reduces the risk of the halyard failing and extends the life of the moving parts. Whilst all our flagpole shafts are designed to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at them a comprehensive service by a qualified Harrisons team member can make the difference between being able to fly your flag when it really matters or not. A full service includes:
• The lowering of the flagpole (where possible) and a full inspection of all parts and fixings.
• A full clean down of the flagpole.
• Replacement of the halyard or dynema.
• If required we’ll also include the replacement of the saddle and finial if accessible.
• Re alignment of the flagpole and torqued fixing of base anchor nuts on base plate.
