The challenge

The challenge on this project was to design, supply and install a set of banner poles that would complement the facade of the iconic Royal Albert Hall in central London.
The busy site, installation, and time constraints to fit with the Queen’s Golden Jubilee celebrations were considerations in the brief. The client had asked for a winch operated lowerable banner system and custom coronet mouldings on the top of the poles to compliment their structure.

The solution

Access to one side of the building was limited, so we used a crane to lift the pole into place. It was a delicate operation, expertly handled by our team of installation engineers who liaised closely with the client’s architects. The finishing result was a great success.
